Destruction of the Earth

1. The Bible Says the Earth Remains Forever

Scripture states that the existence of the earth is stable and enduring.

“One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.” (Ecclesiastes 1:4, KJV)

“He built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.” (Psalm 78:69, KJV)

The earth is presented as a lasting creation, not temporary.

2. God Does Not Destroy Creation, but Preserves It

God’s purpose is restoration, not annihilation.

“As the new wine is found in the cluster… Destroy it not.” (Isaiah 65:8, KJV)

God preserves what is good and removes what is evil.

3. The Earth Will Be Filled With the Knowledge of God

Prophecies speak about the transformation of the world, not its destruction.

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD.” (Habakkuk 2:14, KJV)

This requires the continued existence of the earth.

4. God Destroys Wickedness, Not the Planet

Divine judgments target wrongdoing, not creation.

“The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.” (Psalm 145:20, KJV)

The judgment is directed toward wicked people, not the earth itself.

5. The Meaning of “New Heaven and New Earth”

The Bible speaks about a renewed world.

“Behold, I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:5, KJV)

It does not say God creates another planet, but renews what exists.

6. The Flood — A Pattern of Divine Judgment

God judged the world through the Flood, yet the planet remained.

“The world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.” (2 Peter 3:6, KJV)

Human society perished, not the earth itself.

7. The Righteous Will Live on the Earth

The Bible promises life on earth for the righteous.

“The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.” (Psalm 37:29, KJV)

If the planet were destroyed, this promise would have no meaning.

8. God’s Kingdom Will Rule Over the Earth

The Lord’s Prayer reveals God’s purpose.

“Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10, KJV)

Not abandonment of the earth, but its restoration.

9. Creation Will Be Liberated, Not Destroyed

The apostle Paul speaks of liberation.

“The creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption.” (Romans 8:21, KJV)

Liberation means healing, not annihilation.

10. Evil Will Be Removed Forever

Revelation describes the end of suffering.

“Neither shall there be any more death.” (Revelation 21:4, KJV)

Evil disappears — not creation.
