God doesn’t lie

In a world where people change, promises are broken, and truth is often distorted, the Bible reveals a powerful and comforting truth:

God is always truthful.
God cannot lie.
God never changes.

He is completely trustworthy, yesterday, today, and forever.

1. God Cannot Lie

God is the source of truth. Lying is contrary to His holy nature.

Titus 1:2
“…in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.”

God does not merely choose not to lie — He cannot lie.

God Is a God of Truth

Deuteronomy 32:4
“He is the Rock, his work is perfect… a God of truth and without iniquity.”

Everything God does is right, pure, and just.

God’s Word Is Truth

Psalm 119:160
“Thy word is true from the beginning…”

Scripture is trustworthy because it comes from God.

2. God Always Fulfills His Promises

People may fail to keep their word, but God never does.

Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that he should lie… hath he said, and shall he not do it?”

Every promise God makes will be fulfilled.

God Remains Faithful

2 Timothy 2:13
“If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

Even when humans are unfaithful, God remains true.

3. God Never Changes

God is perfect and eternal. Therefore, He does not need to change.

The Lord Does Not Change

Malachi 3:6
“For I am the LORD, I change not…”

God’s character and nature remain constant forever.

No Shadow of Turning

James 1:17
“…the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

God is steady and unchanging.

4. God Is the Same Forever

God has always been faithful, and He will always remain faithful.

Psalm 102:27
“But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.”

God’s eternal nature never shifts.

Jesus Christ Is Unchanging

Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

The Son of God shares the same unchanging truth.

5. God’s Word Never Changes

God’s truth stands forever, regardless of time or circumstances.

Isaiah 40:8
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

God’s Word is eternal and unshakable.

Conclusion: God Is Truth and Stability

God never lies.
God never changes.
His promises are certain.
His Word is everlasting truth.

Psalm 33:4
“For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.”
